Masters is swimming training and competition for everyone who has turned 20 and is an option for swimmers who have stopped swimming at a higher level, but want to continue to train and compete.

 

Compete

Master competitions are divided into age groups into 5-year intervals, 20-24 years (pre-masters), 25-29 years, 30-34 years, 35-39 years, etc. Competitions are available locally (DM), nationally (SM) and internationally (NM, EM, VM). SS04 became in 2014 and 2015 the second best and 2019 fourth best Master Club in Sweden (calculated in points at the Masters-SM 25m).

SS04 Masters participates in KM, DM, SM, NM, EM and VM. Competition is not mandatory, it is possible to train only. SS04 Masters offers serious swimming training but also a social friendship with many swimming buddies, shared coffee after the training and other get togethers outside of the pool. Masters is fun!

TRAINING

Do you want to start training with us? You should be a former competitive swimmer and we would like you to want to take up competing again. You need to master all swimming methods and a couple of guideline values ​​are to be able to do 10x100m freestyle with a start time of 1:40 and a 10x100m medley with a start time of 2:00. A normal session is about 3000m. We give the opportunity for three free trial trainings, then you and we get to evaluate how it worked.
